Twitter Update

Today was Earth Day so I found a variety of information about the importance of animals. I also felt optimistic that everyone was expressing their awareness of global problems such as climate change and animal’s rights online, but I hope that we take action soon and create laws that lead to positive change. An interesting fact I retweeted was that bees pollinate approximately 30% of the world's crops, it’s amazing how little animals have such a large impact on our world. One of the notable accounts I followed this week is @ScienceMagazine, I was scrolling through their tweets and they post a variety of scientific research on animals. For example, this week I tweeted an article about how dolphins learn the "names" of their friends to form alliances. Something that I struggled with this week was creating a thread, however I am already accustomed with the platform overall.

This week I responded to Mariela, Emily, and Itzia. With Mariela and Emily I commented on their unique research topic and animal of interest. Mariela’s research topic was octopus social behavior, which I found interesting and unique. And Emily seemed extremely passionate about Sloths.

Hi Andres! I really like how the red and white looks, very organize and clean. I think that having a good blog formatting is very important because readers would be more attracted to reading your blogs and visiting your page more. I agree with you, Earth day was a good day to go on twitter because there was so much information about animals. Like I mentioned before, I thought you did a great job by having a very organize and clean blog post; however, the one thing I would change would be to add more information and insight detail about your experience with twitter so far. Do you like it? or no? Would you use twitter as a learning tool…
